1. Establishment.
On 16th May 2010, Mr. Afrika .W. Wamukota stepped
out and began laying the foundation of Afriwawa SKY Group Of Companies, First
started as a one man company operations, planning and research run from a
school computer lab and bed room of Mr.
Afrika, at that time his major focus was on film production and personal development
as a result Mr. Afrika enrolled into various film clubs, joined both student
and youth leadership, joined film clubs were he wrote and produced his first
short film projects under his first burner Visionary Youth Film Production.
Under Visionary Youth Film Production Mr. Afrika
produced short films such as Imbalu, Jimmy the drunkards’ son, Peer influence
and he featured in a television drama which was telecasted on Step TV a local
television station in Mbale. He and his team of Mr.Soodo Jonathan, Mr.Muyeti
David and Mr.Sebakaki Ivan tried to approach major film production companies in
search of a bigger platform to show case their work in the film industry but
their entire bid ended up in disappointments all film production companies
turned them down.
As a result Mr. Afrika a founder and Executive
Director of visionary youth film production took a major decision to go back to
the drawing board and build up systems which would give him and his colleagues
a platform to show case their talents and abilities, thus setting aside the
first five years of Afriwawa SKY Group to majorly focus on studying, planning,
initiating business ideas and innovative ways to serve the African
community and building a strong business
operating system, conducted research on market trends, distribution trends
,product and service development and how best the African community could or
can be served through businesses and services. And little by little Mr. Afrika’s
business interests grow in to vast tentacles covering almost everything i.e.
Entertaiment,Media,Transport,Construction,Hotel &
Tourism,Health,Education,Banking & Finace,Telecommunications,Oil & Gas
and Manufacturing.
The Group’s core business focus was or is to provide
local, value added products and services that would or will meet the basic
needs of the African community with this at the center of our operations we
adopted a master plan/vision 2030.
Afriwawa SKY Group now has five full time employees
and a host of part time contract workers. We continue to focus on filling our
clients’ needs completely and fully launching our operations officially on 16th
may 2017.
